Business Operations Lead

We’ve just raised a new funding round to accelerate our international expansion, and we’re now hiring a Business Operations Lead to help us build a company that works better as a system.

This role sits at the heart of how customers experience Mobal and how our commercial operations support growth. This is not a classic ops or admin role. You’ll be fixing real problems across customer success, billing, systems, and internal processes, while leading our Customer Success team with confidence and credibility.

What you’ll do:

  • Own and continuously improve the end-to-end customer journey, from closed deal to long-term customer success
  • Lead and support our Customer Success team, setting clear standards, processes, and priorities
  • Identify and fix friction, bottlenecks, and failures in onboarding, renewals, billing and expansion
  • Build systems, playbooks, and tooling that improve Net Revenue Retention
  • Own day-to-day commercial operations, including billing workflows, invoicing accuracy, and customer billing requests
  • Support FP&A execution, tracking monthly actuals vs plan and turning numbers into operational insight
  • Own how our tools work together across CRM, CS, billing, analytics, and internal systems
  • Leverage automation and AI to reduce manual work and improve clarity and scalability
  • Participate in weekly leadership team sprints together with leads from product, sales, and marketing to align priorities and execution
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product, and leadership to keep teams aligned and execution tight
  • Act as the operational counterpart to the CEO, taking real responsibility off their plate

To thrive in this position, you’ll need:

  • Startup experience, you’re comfortable in a scrappy, fast-moving environment with imperfect inputs
  • Hands-on experience in Customer Success in a B2B SaaS environment, including owning a portfolio of customers
  • Experience working at the intersection of sales, customer success, and operations
  • Strong systems thinking, you see a SaaS business as something that can be optimized end- to-end
  • A solid practical understanding of SaaS financials, especially retention, expansion, and revenue mechanics
  • High attention to detail, you genuinely care when things don’t work as they should
  • Comfort taking ownership and fixing problems without waiting for perfect instructions
  • A demonstrated interest in AI and how it can be applied to operations and customer success
  • Full professional proficiency in English

Bonus points for

  • Experience building or improving CS processes, playbooks, or tooling
  • Exposure to billing systems, CRM platforms, or customer lifecycle tools
  • Experience working closely with finance or accountants
  • Prior involvement in automation or no-code / low-code tooling
  • A strong instinct for simplifying messy processes
